Tips and Tricks To Dania Planting
Coriander is a fast-growing plant that can be harvested throughout the year. However, it also tends to bolt (flower and set seed) quickly when the weather gets hot or dry.
To prevent this, you can do the following:
Plant slow-bolting varieties of coriander seeds, such as 'Santo', 'Leisure', or 'Jantar'. These varieties have been bred to resist bolting and produce more leaves for longer periods.
Sow the seeds at three-week intervals for a continuous harvest of fresh leaves throughout the season.
Mulch the soil around the plants to keep it cool and moist.
Prune the plants regularly to remove any flower buds that may form.
